Born: Ludvika, Sweden — July 26, 1952 • Islanders: 1979–1983
Anders Kallur was one of two Swedish-born players on the dynasty teams, along with Stefan Persson, making the Islanders the first Cup winner with Europeans on the roster in 1980. A skilled winger who had starred in Swedish league hockey, Kallur brought a different dimension to the Islanders' attack. His NHL career was unfortunately curtailed by a serious knee injury, but he was part of all four championship teams.
